  5. ToyBox II contains the following readable text files:
  6.  
  7. README.TXT - This file
  8. *GUIDE.TXT - User's Guide
  9. *REGISTER.TXT - Registration information
  10. *ORDER.TXT - Order form you can print out
  11. VENDOR.TXT - Info for disk vendors and other distributers
  12. FILE_ID.DIZ - Standard file used by bulletin board systems.

  14. The files with an asterisk (*) can be viewed or printed from 
  15. inside of ToyBox II:
  16.  
  17.      1)  Type "TB2" to start ToyBox II.
  18.  
  19.      2)  At the main title page select the New User button with 
  20. the mouse pointer or press ENTER on the keyboard.
  21.  
  22.      3)  At the New User page select the file you wish to view.
  23.  
  24. You can also use your own text editor or word processor to view or 
  25. print any of these files.

  27. Please read the User's Guide to become familiar with all of the 
  28. capabilities of ToyBox II.  License and Warranty information is 
  29. contained in the User's Guide.

  33. SELECTING OBJECTS - KEYBOARD
  34. ============================

  36. For those users without a mouse, we've extracted the following 
  37. paragraphs from the Users Guide (GUIDE.TXT) to give you a quick 
  38. start on using the keyboard to move around in ToyBox II.  If you 
  39. have a mouse, just point and click on the various objects.  You 
  40. should read the Users Guide for complete information on all of the 
  41. capabilities of ToyBox II.

  43.      1)  ALT Key:  Objects normally have an ALT key combination 
  44. associated with them.  Most objects have one or more words under 
  45. them or to the right of them describing the function of the button 
  46. or box.  One of the letters in the words will have an underscore 
  47. beneath it.  To select the object, hold down the ALT key and press 
  48. the letter that is underscored.  For example, at the Helper 
  49. window, to select the Add Program or Page button, hold down the 
  50. ALT key and press "A".  Some buttons don't have text descriptions.  
  51. The keys to select these buttons are:
  52.  
  53.      - STOP Button:  ALT+S (only at title page)
  54.      - Painter Button:  ALT+P (only at title page)
  55.      - Information Button:  ALT+I (only at title page )
  56.      - Close Window Button:  ESC
  57.      - Helper Button (the red cross):  ALT+H
  58.      - OK Button:  ALT+O
  59.      - Up-Arrow Button:  Page Up
  60.      - Down-Arrow Button:  Page Down

  62.      2)  Outline Cursor:  In some windows you must use the arrow 
  63. keys on your keyboard to move from one object to the next.  A red 
  64. outline cursor will indicate the current object.  To select the 
  65. current object, press the ENTER key.  (If you have a mouse, this 
  66. red outline cursor can be turned off if you intend to use only the 
  67. mouse to select objects.  See "Setting Helper Window Options" in 
  68. the Users Guide for instructions.)

  72. SEE FILE VIEWER

  75. The included SEE file viewer (copyright Pinnacle Software) is used 
  76. by ToyBox II to view/print text files.  The complete SEE program 
  77. consists of four files:  READ.ME, SEE.EXE, SEE.DOC and SEE.MAX.  
  78. Read the SEE.DOC file for Pinnacle Software's terms for 
  79. distributing these files as a standalone program.  However, when 
  80. distributing ToyBox II, you must include these four files.
